The eTravel project is one of the twenty-three high-payoff, government-wide initiatives identified by The E-Government Task Force in response to the President's Management Agenda's mission to improve the internal efficiency and effectiveness of the Federal Government by integrating Agency operations and IT investments. eTravel is a collaborative, inter-agency initiative whose purpose is to realize the efficiencies, cost-savings and increased service associated with a common, automated and integrated approach to managing the Federal Government's travel function. Travel Tech Consulting, Inc. has worked with The Corporate Solutions Group supporting the GSA e-Travel initiative.
The U.S. Department of Transportation evaluated self-booking technology in 1999. Travel Tech Consulting, Inc. provided technical support to R.D. Brown during the RFP creation process.
